Found this today in Arcadia and not sure of the rightful owner. Unfortunately, the occlusal surface is a little beat up but here's to hoping! Thank you for the help! :)

Just trying: 1st guess - Black bear molar, 2nd (and final ) guess dugong. The size is what is bothering me -- otherwise I would be a lot more positive. NICE find

After considering dire wolf, I think it's a bear upper molar too.
