mlm1219 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 We took the kids to the NSR today for the first time. I had read that after a rain even more fossils are available. It was a mess from the rain and flowing pretty fast. Attached assess what we found. I'm hoping the vertebra are mosasaur? The bone is probably more modern, but I thought I'd include it. Any info would be great. We are definitely going back soon.
bone2stone Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 You did very well. Yes mossy vertebrae. Jess B.
amour 25 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Nice finds, I found a Mastodon,Mammoth piece of a limb years back that was still soft inside. So never know. Jeff
limestonecowboy Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Nice! Went there last year, but only got one mosasaur vert and some baculites.
JustPlainPetrified Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 All in all a pretty good trip, I'd say. Thanks for sharing.
