fangirl0708 Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 We found these in Lee Creek micro matrix and curious to see if anyone could help ID.
jpc Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 You found a nickel? The pix are kinda fuzzy.! But I'll bet there are some south easterners here who can I'd them.
fangirl0708 Posted March 19, 2015 Author Posted March 19, 2015 Lol I'll take a clearer picture in the morning.
BSE Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Yep, clearer pics will help... ;-) Look like (bone) fish or reptile teeth. Bernd
sixgill pete Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 Clearer pics would be much more helpful with different angles also. The two on the left do look like some type of fish teeth, possibly from the porgy family(lots and lots of them from Lee Creek) the right object looks like a steinkern to me. If you go to Elasmo.com, click Lee Creek under faunas, then click on the Teleosts you may be able to spot a tooth that is similar. Many of the fish teeth from there are unidentified due to a lack of study.
