donbrunning Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 This is a request aimed at FLORIDA FOSSIL HUNTERS (or anyone close by): Our cast was scheduled to document a land dig this Sat. (4/18) with a fellow fossil hunter but the deal fell through last minute. So, we're looking for an (impressive if possible) "dry" hunting experience if you personally have one you'd like to share or know of anyone who does. (We have plenty of footage of creek, river, and beach hunting, so we only need dry stuff this time). If interested, here's what will happen: 5 cast members and 1 camera op. will accompany you to your site. We will feature you along with the cast during the hunt. We will not give anything away (location, etc...). You will become our "guest fossil hunter" for episode 5 and extra cast footage of the hunt will be used in episode 3. You will receive a DVD of the show and also be notified when it will air locally, regionally, and nationally. What we need: 1. A signed document stating you have permission from the land owner (or are the land owner) for our records. 2. A signed talent-release form. 3. Display (on cam.) your fossil permit (again, only for our records). Contact: Don Brunning: 386-631-0180 and leave a message. I'll get back to you ASAP. Or email me at: dbshark94@yahoo.com Sorry for the short notice! Thanks everyone! db
donbrunning Posted April 14, 2015 Author Posted April 14, 2015 How about you fly to Texas? With any luck, one of our future seasons will be in your neck of the woods. Thanks.
jcbshark Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Good luck Don! Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!
njfossilhunter Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Come to New Jersey...We have the first Dinosaur.....We have lots of creeks that produce many Fossils and its kid friendly to hunt. You just never know what can be found here. We have the world famous Big Brook and Ramanessin stream parks thats open to the public for collecting fossils and it would be very easy to obtain a permit for a show like yours. So come to Jersey The birthplace of Paleontology. Besides myself I know the best paleo people in Jersey that can help with the show. If interest PM me. TonyThe Brooks Are Like A Box Of Chocolates,,,, You Never Know What You'll Find. I Told You I Don't Have Alzheimer's.....I Have Sometimers. Some Times I Remember And Some Times I Forget.... I Mostly Forget.
donbrunning Posted April 15, 2015 Author Posted April 15, 2015 Thanks for the replies everyone. Unfortunately, we're unable to travel out of state until later seasons. But we'll definitely keep in touch.
