Found Marked Stone Need Id

I just found this today while walking my daughter and my dog by the river in our backyard it seems organic of some source to me but have no clue of what it can. That triangular shape is interesting...I'm not recognizing the shape as an organic one though...guessing the layering is some mineral infill/or possible replacement in a crack/void in the specimen. May need clearer pictures--some photosI cant view at all for some reason...

I'm also wondering how hard it is...Can you scratch with a knife?

Some of the local Pa folks might recognize it instantly...Regards, Chris

Looks like an agate or banded chert. Not a fossil.

Better pics would be nice.
