Hey All,

The El Dorado Mineral and Gem society that I belong to places several displays into the local county fair each year. This year My display is self collected finds from Sharktooth Hill. Thought that I would show the display to Y'all and see what You think. Enjoy...

Thanks Roger , Most of the quartz is local and self collected, but there are some in there that were gifts. (Mexico, Brazil, Spain.)

Great displays Tony! : )

Thanks Jeff.

The 2 amethyst "cactus" scepters on one piece are from Mexico, I got them from the estate of a friend, The clear over smoky scepter is from Idaho and was a gift from the mine owner.

All kinds of cool stuff...I couldnt figure out what I circled in red...is that a piece of vertebra or piece of matrix?--got an interesting shape that caught my eye.

Hey-lo Chris,

Thank You.

The piece that You circled is an articulated dolphin ear (both bones) with several pieces of bone fragments cemented together. For a closer look see My string in fossil hunting trips-- " My third try at Sharktooth Hill-(wow-sers)", page 2 post 32 and 33.

That is one amazing assemblage of fossils! I'd heard Sharktooth Hill mentioned a bit years ago, but never saw a display like this! It really brings home the sheer variety of finds that can me made!

Thank You.

The most amazing part to Me is it was assembled with just 8 days of screening. A truly fabulous place to look for "shark teeth".
