Dinosaur Impression found near tropic shale formation behind Big Water Utah.

Total size of rock is about 12x14, and impression of skull is about 1x1.5 in.

Impression appears to me like possibley more than one animal, although I can only make out one head.

Looking for possible species indentification, thoughts or opinions.

Thank You.post-18796-0-00318200-1439860840_thumb.jpgpost-18796-0-04893300-1439860960_thumb.jpg

Welcome to the forum. I'm having difficulty seeing what you are saying. Can you outline the impression of the skull

Welcome to the Forum. :)

Sorry, but I am not seeing a fossil in any of the pictures.

Looks like sedimentary/geologic structures to me.

Regards,

EDIT: I take that back, ... Upon further inspection, I think I can see some trace fossils.

Maybe something like Ophiomorpha. I don't see anything resembling a dinosaur skull.

I think this is the suggestive shape:

That, I am afraid, is all it is, a suggestive shape. Likely made by the activity of sea-bottom-dwelling invertebrates.

That's all I saw and if that's what she's referring to you are spot on.
