Salty Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 I went out a few days ago and found some interesting things. A joint-possibly end of a femur? A nice sized Angy, and some other teeth , bones, and a really odd vert- maybe patho? Any comments are welcome-I also posted under the "ID" section for some things I could use help with, if anyone wants to contribute! This was in coastal SC.

Harry Pristis Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 The bone appears to be the distal end of a bison femur. That is a very useful view of the bone, but the more useful measurements are these: http://pristis.wix.com/the-demijohn-page What seest thou else In the dark backward and abysm of time? ---Shakespeare, The Tempest

Salty Posted August 21, 2015 Author Posted August 21, 2015 (edited) I have more photos of stuff I could use help in ID'ing on the forum for the "ID" section. Thanks for the info so far! Yes the Hemi is pretty cool. Half of the finds are broken, but there are some whole ones that help make it worth it's while! Plus any time fossil hunting is awesome! So Harry thanks for the info---Bison, hmmm.. now that is pretty good! Edited August 21, 2015 by Salty
