Vectis Shale Bone?!

Recommended Posts

So yet again more fossils from the Isle of wight vectis ,Wealden shales, shepards chine member.

Cretaceous age from Shepard chine itself

Both are bones which I have now cleaned up and had to also preserve in B12 paraloid mixture to support both the bone and rib fragment

They were found practically next to each other

The bone appears to be hollow however I have lost my x60 hands lense (which has a light :/) photos are the best I can get but when the sun comes out tomorrow I will try taking some outside in the natural light :)

Many thanks (photos will be uploaded in multiple batche's sorry ipad will only let me do a few at a time)
