Mammoth teeth (I presume that's what these are) cannot remotely be called common; especially a matched set of bookends like this!

Are they a local find?

These aren't "spitters" (worn out teeth that were replaced), and they are so well matched that they may have come from the same animal. If they were found near each other, there may be more of this hose-nose there!

I agree with auspex... Two very nice very similar teeth like this suggest that much of tha animal is in the area.
