ynot
Hey Folks, While going through My trilobites from the Wheeler shale, Antelope springs, House range, Utah, I noticed this little Elrathia kingi has a pygidium looks rather odd. Do You think this is a pathology? Scale is a 1/8 inch ruler. Close-ups in next 2 posts....

Auspex
It sorta' looks like maybe the exoskeleton is missing from the pygidium, and possibly the pyg. turns down into the matrix? 3 "There has been an alarming increase in the number of things I know nothing about." - Ashleigh Ellwood Brilliant “Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.” - Thomas Henry Huxley >Paleontology is an evolving science. >May your wonders never cease!
