Glyptodon shell fragments

post-19972-0-17781600-1446601903_thumb.jpgThis is part of my glyptondontidae shell fragments collection. In this case they are all Glyptodon, the most common ones. I have also found some Panochtus and very few Doedicurus.

All found at the beach, west from Montevideo, Uruguay.

Very nice collection of Glyptodon material.

Yep those are great. We find some of the Glyptotherium scutes up here and I especially like them due to that geometric pattern.

Chris, yes, they are always a nice find.

I think Gliptotherium is not described for my region, but it shows up in northern Brazil, some 15 hundred miles north from here.
