Fossil Claw
Where's waldo? I will post some pics once I clean the finds. In the mean time see if you can spot the prize in these 3 pictures. Edited November 22, 2015 by Fossil Claw

Ludwigia
Waldo appears to be in 3 different places at the same time. Looking forward to seeing them cleaned up. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
Fossil Claw
Three waldos cleaned. One was too fragile and lost some of its shell. I have a 4th I did not take a picture of in the field.

ZiggieCie
27 Deg. Or 99 deg with high humidity and 14 hours of baking sun? Oh don't forget the bugs, wasps and other goodies there. I think you had a great day.
Khyssa
Looks like you had a good day. At least when it's coold out you can just put some more layers one. It's the heat of the summer which can really get you!
jcbshark
Nice finds Dom, but you can keep all that cold weather : ) Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!
Ridgehiker
Nice finds. You earned them. I enjoy the photos of in situ fossils. Let's us hunt with a cup of coffee while still in our pajamas. Cold? I like fossil hunting any time in the colder months. We will go out to the badlands in minus 10c. If no snow, then the issue is number of daylight hours. The angle of the sun can help hi-light specimens on the hillsides. An added plus is creeks and rivers freeze over. This gives access to otherwise inaccessible sites. Edited November 24, 2015 by Ridgehiker

Fossil Claw
Tuned my fllexis from multiple trips to this location from this year into a neat little life cycle of different sizes.
FossilDAWG
Nice display. It's a great way to show off a series of specimens. What is the width of the glass in that Riker, so we can have an idea of the scale? I also like to use Riker mounts as well for smaller specimens. Generally I'll use a label maker to mark the box with at least locality info. I'll also scan the box and (using Paint) add IDs for the individual specimens, print it up to a suitable size, and stick that on the back of the box. These are your typical St Leone rollers. Very small trilos.
