BobWill
If you're in north Texas Wednesday you might like to hear Mike Ellwood from the Calvert Marine Museum give a talk at the Dallas Paleontological Society general meeting. The Calvert Cliffs locality is world famous for it's Miocene marine fossils and I know many of you have collected there. I was planning to show Mike some of the sites we hunt here but the 4½ inches of rain we got will make that all but impossible. The meeting is at 7:30 at the Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch. Auspex
Take Mike out anyway, and tell him that this is how you always do it in Texas. "There has been an alarming increase in the number of things I know nothing about." - Ashleigh Ellwood Brilliant “Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.” - Thomas Henry Huxley >Paleontology is an evolving science. >May your wonders never cease!
