Mike Ellwood to talk in Dallas Wednesday Night

If you're in north Texas Wednesday you might like to hear Mike Ellwood from the Calvert Marine Museum give a talk at the Dallas Paleontological Society general meeting. The Calvert Cliffs locality is world famous for it's Miocene marine fossils and I know many of you have collected there. I was planning to show Mike some of the sites we hunt here but the 4½ inches of rain we got will make that all but impossible. The meeting is at 7:30 at the Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch. Details and directions are at dallaspaleo.org

Take Mike out anyway, and tell him that this is how you always do it in Texas.
