JimB88
Found this last Thur. Its from the Middle Mississippian New Providence Shale. It vaguely looks like a conularid but the lines dont seem "bold" enough. Then there is this odd little thing..it maybe mineral in origin... Thanks in advance for any help you may offer. xonenine
nice Jim,to me it looks more like a bivalve. "Your serpent of Egypt is bred now of your mud by the operation of your sun; so is your crocodile." Lepidus

KansasFossilFinder
I agree with Guguita with the Conularid. I think it may be a little less "bold" because it was worn down by weather. Fossildude19
I'm getting a bivalve vibe from this as well - To me,... this looks similar to a partial Pterinea sp. I'll go with bivalve imprint. Thanks everyone!
