Here is the find we made in SC. I think It is a fragment of a baby alligator or croc. Found it on the beach in the surf. Any thoughts? And how rare are these little guys?

This is far more likely to be a fish cranium.

it may be a skull piece, but I don't think it is crocigator.  I am in the fish camp.

Fish scull, as I see. Can we have a picture of the opposite side?

It looks like a worn sea robin skull.

Thanks all. It is apparently a little fish after all! Still cool and still a favorite of the beach trip. Sea robin...sorta ugly fish for the name haha!
