I found this specimen in VA, USA. Any help identifying is greatly appreciated. Thank you, all.

The pointy end is actually the root. I believe this maybe a sus incisor.

I will agree with incisor.  Cannot say which animal.  Modern, though, not a fossil.

Thanks for the information, I had never seen a tooth like this where the root comes to point. That being said, I am all wanderer and just started picking up interesting finds, so classification and identification is entirely new to me.

Big help! Just looked at some comparisons, seems very close if not spot on.
