Jones1rocks Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Don't have a good guess for this one. Are those eyes I'm seeing, or some other body part? Or is it fauna at all?
Tidgy's Dad Posted December 20, 2017 Posted December 20, 2017 Hmmmm. Since no one else is having a stab at this i'll start it rolling with.... Coprolite? (sorry about the terrible mixed metaphor) 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
Nimravis Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 I am not seeing anything here. You could try to clean it up a bit and see what might be there, but I think there is nothing. I also am not seeing those spots as eyes. I have always been told that there had to be some type of nucleus to form the concretion, but some times nothing was preserved if in fact it opened at the proper plane line. 1
fossilized6s Posted December 21, 2017 Posted December 21, 2017 I agree with Nimravis. I'm not seeing much here. There are a few small signs that this maybe some sort of fauna (possibly "leech"), but it would need a vinegar bath and a scrub. 1 ~Charlie~ "There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask why.....i dream of things that never were, and ask why not?" ~RFK ->Get your Mosasaur print ->How to spot a fake Trilobite ->How to identify a CONCRETION from a DINOSAUR EGG
