Modern Skull Id - Edit: Skunk identified!

Hello everyone, this is not a fossil but since there is so much knowledge in this forum I thought I'd ask here first. Please delete or move if not appropriate for the Fossil ID section.

This is a modern skull. The size puzzles me as well as the dental not quite a house cat. Bob cat? Other ideas? It is tiny!! Scale in inches.

Found in North Texas, near to a Coyote remains. Lot of wildlife, including bob cats, raccoons. Any way to tell what this is exactly?

Thanks in advance!

I agree it looks like cat, so why not bobcat.

After more research, thinking a SKUNK... :D the size matches. It is tiny for a bob cat or house cat (juvenile). Comparing the teeth is difficult having no knowledge on the differences between all of the options. Thanks for the input!

Definitely not cat...I'd have to compare it to skunk, but that seems more likely.

Looks to me to be youngish mustelid, a skunk perhaps.  This one is Spilogale putorius.
