Opalised fossils are the best: a wonderful mix between paleontology and mineralogy!

Well Tim,

 

Your little Arthropod landed a spot for you with the IPFOTM.  In the scheme of fossils, somethings got to walk and slither around those plants you love so much.

Yep... It's fine (and useful) to have a focus - everyone does, it seems, but you don't sniff at a fossil this good just because it falls outside your focus!
