    Ellipsocephalus hoffi is a common trilobite mainly from central Europe.

    The slab shows several Ellipsocephalus remnants.

    Taxonomy according to Fossilworks.org.

    The systematic position of the family Ellipsocephalidae remains a subject of discussion.
