And that's really what this small Fauna from the grey hills of the Provence is like! Just walk along and pick 'em up. Nothing bigger than 3cm. in circumference, mostly just 1 or 2. Feels like Hansel & Gretel. ;)

Interesting, What does the outside look like, is it smooth? We have an ammonite from our local Santonian/Campanian called Tetragonites a.k.a. Epigoniceras. It is very smooth on the outside, like a tire with no tread. I wonder how similar yours is, as the name seems to indicate ancestry.

No not at all. All members of this genus have ribs and some also have rhythmic indentations.
