Parkinsonia parkinsoni (Sowerby 1821)
12cm. From the Winnberg quarry in Sengenthal, Bavaria. This location is well-known for its well-preserved fossils. The original shell, transformed from aragonite into calcite, is still intact. Unfortunately my chisel slipped during the preparation leaving a little hole which I've not repaired. Parkinsoni Zone, Upper Bajocian.
