Fossil Cabinet.

Fossildude19

This is a display cabinet in my computer room.

I found about 96% of the fossils in this case.

Display was found at Michaels for about $ 25.00 bucks.

Just a mix of stuff I find.

Right Click the image, and select the Large View for a better look at the fossils.

Let me know if you have any questions about any of the fossils, and I can take a close up and give an explanation.

Thanks for looking.

Neat! I see a Green River fish or two (did you go there?)

Yes, this kind of display is a drool-inducer for sure. I don't want to start asking about specific fossils if you have shown all or most of them individually on the forum at one time or other...?

Love it, I had a smaller version of this as my first fossil cabinet.

Good eye, Jim. There is one Green River Knightia eocaena, but the other fish is a chinese Jianghanichthys. The Green River is a place I have yet to visit, but it is on my bucket list.

Regards,

Just the kind of display I like

Thanks for the comment, Darren. It's a bit cluttered, but I have a lot of cool things I like to show off.

Eric,

I've shown a number of them here on the Forum, but if you have specific questions, I can take a close up of it and do some explaining of the fossil. Glad you like the display. :)

Thanks Elliot. :)

I think these are a decent, inexpensive way to show off our finds.

I'm curious about the plant directly below the white trilo, and the one to the far right of it (and what looks like its counterpart on the top shelf)

Eric,

These are both Brachyphyllum, probably B. scotti. Link 1 and Link 2.

The first is a bit of a shamer piece for me, as it is a sloppy bit of prep work, from when I was just starting out. It is one of the best detailed plants I have found, but I messed up the prep by being too impatient.

Thanks for the interest.

Regards,
