Xiphactinus audax tooth

Tooth from tarpon-like bony fish found at Big Brook. Also known as the Bulldog fish. This was one monster fish, reaching upwards of 20 feet.

10/1/08 -- I edited the picture to state that this specimen is from the Mount Laurel Formation. From what I've read recently that appears to be the

formation with shark and other fish teeth.
