Ancolioceras opalinoides (Mayer 1864)

This block measures 23x16x9cm. and consists, in my belief, of 2 pairs(male and female) from the same stock. Found in the Wutach Valley in the upper Aalenian layers, specifically the sinon Banks of the murchisonae Zone. These were assigned to the genus Staufenia by Rieber in 1963, but Dietze, Rieber etal have revised the genera in December 2014 to the above.
