Dinosaur Bone Fragment #3

Paleoworld-101

Description: The largest piece of dinosaur bone i found on my trip to collect fossils between Brook and Brighstone Bay on the Isle of Wight, UK. The reverse side looks merely like a grey pebble so when i picked this up, turned it over, and saw the distinctive bony texture i was very happy! Collected on 29/11/13.

Geological Formation: Wessex Formation

Age: About 125 million years old

Location: Between Brook and Brighstone Bay, Isle of Wight, UK
