Partial bits of the coelacanth, Diplurus newarki.

You can clearly see the fin bones and the scales in the center of the specimen on the right.

Part of the head is visible on the edge of the stone as well.

Late Triassic, Lockatong Formation.

I have some that have lots of scales preserved.

This one is the most visible, however.
