Amplectobelua symbrachiata and trilobite.

ElToro

My best fossil. The Anomalocaridid, Amplectobelua symbrachiata feeding appendage with a trilobite curiously attached to the end. Amplectobelua predation on trilobites or trilobite predation on a dead Amplectobelua? From Chengjiang.

From the album:

Anomalocaris and friends.

Really nice! I'd be happy just with the trilobite, that appendage is a real bonus!

hahaha! Its actually the only trilobite I have! No idea what species. Ill have to post in fossil ID. Its interesting how much better preserved the trilobite is than the Anomalocaridid. They werent proper arthropods and had quite soft bodies.

Thanx mate! Every surface in my house has fossils on it. Even my bed has a couple jaws. Need some serious display cabinets!

Same here! I do have a few cabinets, and half of the collection doesn't fit, so a lot of the collection is in storage.

I can't bear to put anything in storage. That's why every available surface is full....

Thanx mate! I have lots more to post including 2 more Anomalocaris. One more from China (still working on what species it is.) and one from the Wheeler Shale, Utah. But don't wanna post everything at once! ;)
