Jim,

On the covered trilobite is a partial pygidium, and then above it I think there is an imprint from a trilo thoracic segment.

I hope it is full - but my gut instinct says this may be a moult-shred :(

 

But only some prep will say for sure! I've brought home stuff I was absolutely * sure * was going to be full (rollers especially) given the way they dipped into the matrix only to find it was yet another headless roller :(

 

I even had a "multi" with a few rollers where prep revealed some were without pygidia (I stop digging with the Dremel at that point and let others assume there is continuation in the rock :P )

There is a partial pygidium above, and a partial cranidium , I think, below it.

Don't forget the tiny brach impression! I see the two pustular glabellas there. Any plans to prep that nice prone fella out? :trilo: By the looks of it, the matrix on the right side looks like it could flake right off with a dental pick.

I do plan to prep out the lil guy, but having the time to do so is the issue. ;)
