Sconsia hodgii (Conrad, 1841)

Statigraphy:  Pinecrest Sand Member of the Tamiami Formation

Location: Quality Aggregates Pit, Sarasota County, Florida USA.

Status: Extinct

 

Notes:  This extinct species is also common in the Duplin Formation in the Carolinas and has been found in the Jackson Bluff Formation in the Florida Panhandle.
