T. Proriger tooth. Enamel is almost entirely intact, with the exception of the tip which has been worn away by weathering, feeding, or a combination thereof.

A more conservative identification would be simply a Mosasauridae tooth. I was perhaps overeager to assign a genus and species to this larger tooth.

Update: Michael Polcyn of Southern Methodist University has identified this tooth as Tylosaurus proriger.
