I've never seen a cluster of rhynchonellids before except at St. Leon. That this was unusual for the Kalkberg was a main reason I brought it home.

I have a couple rhynchonellids on one plate from the Liberty formation in OH, both are complete so it probably isn't due to being carried down to some place by currents. I wonder if sometimes they just cluster together like that?
