The other day I stopped by the bank in the town of Morland Kansas to see the mural on the bank. It is more of a Relief piece I guess made in the brick. It depicts the life found in northwestern Kansas during the late Miocene. One of those "off those off the beaten path" kind of palentological finds. If you go into the bank they will sell you a copy of National Geographic Research vloume 6 1990 that has a write up about the site for two bucks. Unfortunately they don't have any actual fossils to show. All the finds are in the Sternberg Museum.
