Help planning large fossil trip in Pennsylvania

(Note: this was originally posted under fossil trips) Hey there! I'm sorry its been so long since I've posted on here but suffice it to say I need your help. I'm planning a six to seven day fossil hunting trip in Pennsylvania (sometime in mid august) and I need your help verifying that the sites I've picked to visit from Robert Beards guide Rock Hounding Pennsylvania are still accessible to collecting as well as coverable given my time frame. The places I'm looking at hunting are sites 27. Beltzville State Park (Outcrops on shoreline), 28. Lehighton, Lehigh Canal (Former borrow pit and outcrop),30. Deer Lake (Borrow Pit), 33. Suedberg (Outcrop in former borrow pit), 35. Centralia (Former strip mine outcrop), 38. Rockville (Former quarry), 48. Walker Lake (Hillside and unpaved road), 51. PPL Montour Preserve (Hillside, Former borrow pit), 57. Uniontown (Former quarry). Any insights as to whether or not theses sites are still accessible to collecting, weather our not you believe covering all these sites within 6 to 7 days is possible, and any other tips and tidbits of information on the sites, and or planning a large trip like this etc, would be greatly appreciated! When I go I'm planning to take notes and pictures and then, when i get back, write a few essays illustrated with pics that I will post on here! I'm still splitting some of the West Virginia mahantango rocks @Rocky Stonergave to me, and I found these too things. One broke as it fell out, so I'm hoping very hard it's not a trilo that I broke the next one also has horizontal lines on it, and a ridge in the middle, which reminds me of a pygidium. I'm not gonna get my hopes up though, what do y'all think?

I was prepping out a shell (it may seem stupid but I don't trust myself with other things) in a piece of matrix given to me by @Rocky Stoner (thx for the stones!) and this little dotted piece caught my eye. Could it be a frag of a trilobite, or is it the usual suspects. I am btw not referring to the obvious bryozoan, but the shiny piece with four holes.

I got to hunt on the trilobite ridge for a very short time, thanks to @GordonC for letting me know it existed and Jeff from this site for the directions and other tips. I had a very short time to hunt, but it was productive. I've got lot of spiriferids and other goodies, but best of all the first thing I saw, as if placed by divine intervention, a trilobite pygidium! This is the first real trilo I've found, although I find an extremely small piece of one in Maryland, so this is why I'm very excited even for a fragment. Any one know the species? I know it could do with some prep, but it's to delicate for me to attempt. If any pros want to prep it for me extremely cheaply, pm me. I can get more pictures if needed.

I found this in the Devonian Mahantango Formation from a road cut in western Maryland. Is it a fish tooth, and if so, what genus or species?

A break in the weather and disappearance of the snow cover invited this trip yesterday to Sparrowbush NY about a mile downriver from a recent hunt at Millrift PA. This location in perhaps the Mahantango Formation or Upper Devonian Sloat Brook Formation. Ids are looks like basis from Wilson's Field Guide. For the others ids appreciated. Found two fossils with any distinctive shape this weekend at Swatara State Park in PA. The ridged one I'm thinking is a jumbo crinoid of some sort, but I've never seen one bigger around than a pencil before. It looks like it had concentric rings and the one end seems to show the outline of where the critter stopped and the clay hardened around it. Thoughts? Also, I spilt this one open and almost missed it because I was looking for something 3D, but it is too regular a pattern to be a random pattern in the mud. Thanks to anyone who has ideas!

I found this nice brachiopod poking out of a concretion when exploring the Montour Fossil Pit. A good whack with my hammer and it split, exposing the entire fossil. The shale exposed is Devonian, Mahantango Formation. I think it is an inarticulate brachiopod like Lingula. It's a little crushed, but I like how it looks on the round concretion. Just goes to show that cracking concretions can be worth it! This is how it looked at first: And after I split it:

Hey all! I am a new fossil collector and I started out by going to the Suedberg site in Swatara Gap, PA, which is part of the Mahantango Formation. I brought some fossils home with me and have heard you can use a 50/50 mix of white elmer's glue and water to preserve the fossils. Obviously this isn't a professional job, but it is cheap and gets the job done. Can I use this mixture for fossils found in shale? I fear that over time they will disintegrate and if I drop them, bye, bye, fossils, which is why I'm considering using the mixture. I am also open to cheap alternatives, although the key word there is cheap (I am a college student).

My father recently took me to the Montour Fossil Pit, a large open pit filled with Devonian shales from the Mahantango formation. I believe I found a piece of a eurypterid (sea scorpion) in the weathered bits of shale on the side of the hill. It has a segmented look, and if you look close enough it appears to have tiny bumps in the middle of the fossil.
