Recently I purchased what is described as a Sarcosuchus tooth, but after I compared it to some Stolokrosuchus teeth I noticed some similarities with it. So now I'm wondering if it's Sarcosuchus or Stolokrosuchus. Location: Gadoufaoua, Téneré Desert, Niger (Erlhaz Fm) Size: 4.3 cm (1.69 inch)

Sarcosuchus and Timurlengia teeth for trade
Carcharodontosaurus posted a topic in Member Fossil Trades Bulletin Board
I have two teeth up for trade. A 30mm Timurlengia tooth from the Bissekty Formation of Uzbekistan and a 40mm Sarcosuchus tooth from the Elrhaz Formation of Niger. I'd be willing to trade one or both of these teeth for any of the following: Postosuchus tooth Dimetrodon tooth Tylosaurus tooth (Preferably North Sulphur River) Deinosuchus riograndensis tooth Aguja tyrannosaur tooth I live in New Zealand but am willing to send these anywhere in the world I can. Thanks in advance.- 1 reply

Hi, I won an auction for 4 Crocodilian teeth from the Elrhaz Formation of Niger. They're Lower Cretaceous. The seller noted that he could not identify them definitively as Sarcosuchus, or another Crocodilian from the locality. I hope these photographs are enough to identify them. Otherwise, I can get more photographs when they arrive. Largest one is 1.4" Thank you, Bellamy

I have here a 1.5" tooth that was sold to me as Sarcosuchus from the Cretaceous of Niger. It's been brought to my attention that this may instead be Suchomimus. After comparing photographs, I believe that Suchomimus is accurate. I'd appreciate more eyes on this. Which one might this be? Thank you, Bellamy

I have here two teeth identified as Sarcosuchus sp. from Kem Kem, Morocco. They don't look like any Sarcosuchus teeth I've seen. Many here are more knowledgeable than I am about crocodiles. Based on these views, can they be identified as such? These are two different teeth. The first one is 4.2 cm long and nearly 2 cm across the base. The latter is 7 cm and 2.5 cm across the base. Thank you, Bellamy

Hi, I found this croc tooth for sale and it's labeled as Sarcosuchus. If it is Sarcosuchus, I want to buy it. They didn't put very much info about it, just that it is from Africa. Any help?
