Hey guys, I have purchased another small theropod tooth from Hell Creek fm. This one is a little bit bigger (0,8cm) and seems to be more slender than the tooth identified by @Troodon as Dakotararaptor. It will be harder to ID since the serrations on the mesial edge are present, just quite worn. Mesial edge count will be tough and rough... The serration count midline for the distal edge is 6/mm. Thanks for any input and don’t hesitate to ask me fore more pictures. Kind rgards .

Hello again forum! I found this tooth eroded out of a cliff on the coast in Santa Barbara county, California. I'm fairly certain it is an upper m3 molar of an Equus but have been unable to determine the species or age of it. There is some matrix cemented onto the tooth face that I tried picking off but it is quite hard and wasn't being cooperative so I stopped to not damage it. Anyone have any leads that could point to it being either a Pleistocene or just older modern tooth? Or tips on how to remove the tooth face matrix without giving it a root canal? Thanks very much!

Hey guys. I purchased this very small serrated theropod tooth from Hell Creek, USA. It is serrated on both edges and complete so I was wondering if it would be possible to give an ID on this tooth. It is 0,6cm on the largest end and 0,5cm on the smallest. Serration count on the smallest end is around 29-31 per 0,5cm. The long end serrations are a little worn to tell for sure. Thanks for the help and input Kind regards.

Hello, I found this tooth on a beach in New Zealand (north island) in 2006. I am wondering what it is from? It is about 10cm long by 6 cm wide (at top), and all white as can be seen.

Greetings! My lady friend and I are beginner rock collectors, and occasionally find something that seems fossil-like to our untrained eyes. This is one we felt seemed like a tooth; are we even in the ballpark? We found it in a gravel parking lot in central Minnesota. It isn't magnetically reactive, but that's about all we know!

Hello All, I'm new to fossil collecting as well as this forum. I'm looking to pick up a T Rex tooth and came across the one in the attached images. I'm just wondering if you could help me verify that it is genuine? It comes from the Hell Creek formation so I believe it is, I just wanted to be sure. Also, if anyone has any reputable sources for T Rex teeth, that would be great to know as well (PM). Thanks in advance!! -Derek

This was found in Washington State around the Seattle Area. This formation has been dated at 40 million years old and considered Near Shore sediments. I have found a fish tooth and a shark tooth in this same spot, however the tooth I found today seems to have traits of both. It also has more detail so I hope that could help in identification. The tooth is about half an inch long or 1.27 centimeters long. or 12 MM It takes on a blueish hue and has no serrations. I can upload more pictures but request if anyone wants to see another angle or different lighting.

This is a some kind of tooth from the Eocene. I found it a few feet from this shark tooth I also found but couldn't figure what this is. I was imagining fish? Microscope images included and also showing it is transparent in the light where the tooth gets thinner. No serrations. People didn't like that I used American currency so here is Ancient Rome, , Canadian, Belgian and wheat cents for any time travelers or old timers. I lost my snarge ruler unfortunately.

Good evening, I wanted to share some pictures of a fossilized whale vertebra and two Megalodon teeth that my boyfriend found while diving at Venice Beach Florida this past weekend. I have been wanting to go fossil hunting for Megalodon teeth in Florida for many years and I was blown away with his finds. I was also wondering if anyone can point out if there are any Megalodon teeth in the second picture of the various shark teeth I collected. I am hoping that there is a Meg tooth in there thank you so very much for taking the time to read my post. Any thoughts will be greately appreciated. I don't know if this is a fossilized tooth or not but I thought it might possible be. It's a gentleman's watch fob mounted in 14K gold and dates from the mid to late 1800's. Teeth were commonly used in this fashion but I have never seen a fob with a tooth like this. Can anyone identify it for me? I spent countless hours researching but couldn't find another tooth like it. The tooth is approximately 3/4 inches long. Thank you so much for any help you can provide.
