Found in the Cle Elum, Washington area. This bone was found in the river, appears to be agatized. Would love to know if anyone could identify it. I wold imagine it’s a type of digit. Thank you in advance.

I picked up this curious, largish piece at an estate sale. I have no formal --or informal! -- fossil knowledge but have always collected interesting rocks and frequently have a few in my pocket. The owner had labeled this item as being from NE-central Oregon and they had mounted it with fence wire to a board. (It obviously struck them as interesting, too.) Judging from other items, the family did some elk hunting. I thought they might know bone when they saw it. Thanks for any help!

Hi — we are new to this and are wondering about this find…. Our 3rd grader says petrified wood with amber. Grandpa thinks it might be bone. Someone else suggested palm wood. Maybe someone here can help us get a more definite ID? Picts are from an IPAD / IPhone. Found in Southern Oregon on the beach. Thanks everyone…

Hi to all. I found this tooth on a beach in Madison, Ohio in 2007. A wave had washed it onto the shore and I was quite surprised. I saw that it was a fossil tooth as half of the enamel showing was agatized. I suspect it is a fish tooth but not sure. It is a great specimen! Can anyone help with identification? It is 2 inches long.

The specimens that I've collected have washed down from the Monterey Formation, there are three watersheds that flow away from this Formation, I have agatized mammal bone, oysters, and agates from clams, muscles, these are two bivalves, the same species's one is quite larger than the other, also agatized oysters
