California decided that it needed another state fossil and chose Augustynolophus morrisi to be it, mostly because it was only found in California for now. Its a pretty nice hadrosaur, but what intrigues me is that they are only found in the Moreno Formation, which is usually a Cretaceous ocean zone famous for their mosasaurs. Decided to fish this one out after one of my classmates did a current event report on it
