Help identifying sound and Peace River

Hi everyone! I came across this little piece as I was sorting through some of the anthill matrix I brought back from Wyoming's Lance formation. When I first found it, I must not have recognized it as a partial claw as it ended up alongside other odds and ends (fragments of bone, gar scales & other misc. fossils) at the bottom of a pill bottle where I had deposited all of my pickings. This week, however, I emptied that pill bottle to see what was inside in order to organize all the micros I found from this locality (which will get its own post eventually). It's evident to me that this is a claw given it's pair of blood grooves, but it's far and away the smallest in my collection thus far at only 3 mm in length and 2 mm wide. I'm sure it may be a long shot for a definitive ID, but I wanted to see what opinions you all had. And for what it's worth, the flat base and lack of curvature makes it look similar to my ornithomimid claw from the Judith River. These next two focused more on the forceps than the claw unfortunately, will retake these soon.

Hi, after a recent walk on the south Downs, Devils dyke near Brighton I found what seems to be a bone or claw? unsure. It feels like a bone and shaped like a claw, Some photos attached if anyone knows what it is. Thanks

We found this piece in our creek located in Licking County, Ohio. We’ve been wondering what it was from for a several years now and have never found the answer. it is very light weight. Hopefully someone here can assist us!

I don't think I posted Larry yet, but here he is! Meet Larry the Lobster! He didn't look much like a crab. He looked more like the Lobster from sponge bob. The lobster was buff and this one looks pretty buff to me!

Hi all, thanks to @Troodon and his wonderful guidance I felt confident to purchase my first fossil claw. Now after thorough cleaning and proper documentation I wanted to get your input on a possible ID. The claw was found in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield County, Montana. It's 1,82 cm (0.72'') in length and as you can see some of the tip is missing. The ventral surface is a bit flat so I guess it's not a Dromaeosaurid, but it also does not look like Anzu to me, but I am a claw-novice. Thanks for taking a look!

Looking for help on identifying these three claws. The two on the left are from the scollard formation, and the one on the right is from the Dinosaur Park formation.

Hi, A while back I asked about the identification of this theropod foot claw, but it is still for sale and I am thinking of buying it. I wanted to ask now, if anyone can see any sort of repair work done on this claw (such as with the tip of the claw?), the seller says there is no restoration and I can't see any repair work on it, but I am never too confident with dinosaur claws. Thanks. -
Info available, rare paleo bird beak unidentified. Ouled Abdoun Basin, Phosphate Beds,Upper Paleocene, Thanetian stage, (~56 Million Years). Any comments welcome, are there any bird experts also on forum ? Inside the cavity there are also a lot of structures which perhaps eliminates a claw core .

...so I headed out to find some Dinos. All fossils dinosaur park fm. Got some new land permissions so I have lots of area to wander. Here’s some notable finds from today. Large hadrosaur (or possibly ceratopsian) foot bone, large hadrosaur foot claw, tyrannosaurid caudal vert, possible tyrannosaurid toe bone, and some indet. fused verts. These will be pictured, there were various other verts and smaller bones found that I may post later.

Out hunting yesterday. A productive day. Found a couple of whale verts, fish verts, a smallish horse tooth plus a fossil I have only found once previously. I think it is a strange type of tilly bone from a fish that no longer exists. Length at 30 mm. But I will not go down the rat hole trying to identify tilly bones to a species of fish. Let me try a different rat hole. Trying to identify what might be a claw core... The fossil does not seems to be broken anywhere on the sides, curved slightly on one side.. It is 20 mm in Length. I am looking for TFF members knowledgeable about claw claws.... Could this be one? PrehistoricFlorida sold an early miocene canid claw, and this is one of the photos. Likely just under 20 mm.

Does anyone know what this is because I have looked around and have know idea what it is. I mean it might be a rock. I cant remember where I found it apart from that it was in England. Any help would be appreciated identifying this. If you need any more photos just say. Thank you.

Any thoughts on this? Unfortunately, given the small size, seller can't get much better photos, so I hope these two will do. It's sold as a dinosaur claw, but I think with these sorts of claws it's pretty difficult to tell whether croc, dino or something else. But if anyone has a thought, that would be great. Also, the first pic--the sort of crack going along the side from about halfway, is that a concern that it's restored/fabricated, or just a bog standard crack? I can't see similar on the other side photo, which makes me think it's just a minute crack. Also, as well as a bit of the tip missing, is it also missing a small section of the back? Many thanks

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone is able to identify the species of this giant sloth claw, it was found in the Ashepoo river, ACE basin in South Carolina. Believed to be ~12,000 years old but considering it was found on the river base could be older. Can get measurements if that would help, it's a UK sterling pound coin in the picture, roughly same diameter as one euro coin or US nickel. Thanks all! Hi everyone! I have a large claw from the Hell Creek Formation of Harding County, South Dakota that I was hoping to have help identifying. It is large enough that I initially believed it stood a chance at being tyrannosaurid, but it seems a bit more compressed than tyrannosaur claws I’ve worked with in the past - particularly on the lower ridge. The ventral surface of the claw is also distinctly flat rather than rounded, which seems unusual. Could this be a Dakotaraptor claw or is that just wishful thinking? Large Anzu perhaps? It is right around 1.75 inches across the length of the claw (sorry, no metrics on this ruler). I have referred to the incredible guide posted by Troodon, and have some experience with various claws, but I still can’t quite come to a conclusion on this one. What are your thoughts? These fossils have been found within 500 yards of each other on surface soil in Venice, Florida. Other early pleistocene dated fossils in immediate area. When I found the first one, I thought it was a nail from a dog. Several others found in the last few months. I appreciate any input on these identifications. Happy New Year -Michael

Good everyone. So I was fortunate enough to be able to buy some specimens from an old collection. Unfortunately the husband had passed away and the misses was left his collection from 30+ years. This claw had been tagged as a Spinosaurus claw which I’m pretty confident it is not. So I’m hoping you guys may have some input. I cannot tell you anything about location because no one other than him would know. So I understand that the ID will not be 100% and that’s fine. It definitely has had some repair work done to it.
