My collection of some really cool fossils on the land most of the fossils I have in my collection are bought so it’s always nice to find something actually in the field. Now my main goal with this post is to try to identify the trilobite I found today although it only has the head piece, it clearly shows the eye and part of the gabella. The horn coral which are the sort of conical fossils should help identify the age of the rocks. if anyone else can give an ID on the rest of the fossils that would help thanks. By the way these were all found in Dane County, Wisconsin. (PS) I have no clue what the fossil is with the weird holes.

A few days ag o I went to a site about 40 km south of Oslo, near Slemmestad. The site is a road-cut full of shales. According to geological map the formation is either early ordovician or cambrian. I found many graptolites there, some of which I will show soon, I start today with a puzzeling stone. I first took a picture of it, but the shap do not come forward very clearly. Then I remembered an advice I read at this site and wet the stone with a better result. Here are the two pictures. Can it just be a not well preserved brachiopod or is it something else?

I cannot figure out what is this fossil. Can anyone help me for ID? I found it in an area in Norway in the Oslo field, ordovicium or silur area. Could it be a part of sea-lily?
