Hi there ! If anyone has any info what this could be as to me looks egg like ? Just very unusual surface to any other rock I’ve seen ! Any feed back would be great! Sullivan (Norfolk England)

I was digging out a drain line and hit this with my shovel. I understand that the odds of finding a real egg are slim to none but i have worked in the dirt most my life and have never seen anything quite like this.

My friend found this egg in Ventura County, California (in the United States) about 20-25 years ago. She said the missing outer piece just happened this year. She doesn't know what happened or who broke it. I tried to look up photos of fossilized eggs, but none looked right. It *could* be a concretion, but I'm no geologist. Any idea? It's roughly 8 inches long and a tad over 5 inches wide at its widest point. Thank you!

Hi everyone, this is my first post, found this site while reading up before acquiring my first egg. I was offered this and hoping to find out more, real? and ID. A bit nervous that it might be from China but apparently way before the ban. From a collector. TIA
