Hey y’all, I just wanted to know if this tooth is real or not . My dad bought it for me as a kid at a fair in Virginia in 2013 . As you can see it’s not in the best of shape . But this tooth holds a lot of sentimental value because this tooth sparked my interest in fossil collecting and I just want to know if it’s real or not. I would love any thoughts and input .

Hello, Did anyone attent to the Munich fair in previous editions? Its from the 22-24th October this year. Got a tip that it should be interesting. Im considering going, but its an 8hour drive from my home. Im not interested in Minerals or jewelry, just Dinosaur stuff, so would really help out if someone here knows how the fair is ? Is it good? Is there allot of Fossil-Dinosaur material? Thanks for your opinions! Best, Egon

Hello, Just wondering, when you visit a large Fossil or Mineral expo / fair, do you guys bring your UV light to check if the fossils are real ? If you spot something suspicious on for example a tooth of claw, what will it look like? Im buying my UV light for future purchases. Looking forward to hear what you all take along when you're on the hunt for new fossils. Another question, can you spot a Fossil in matrix with the UV light? Best regards, Egon

Hi everyone, Two weekends (11 november) ago I went to the fossil and mineral fair of Geo-Oss. I had gone two years ago too (I couldn't go last year due to personal reasons). I mostly went to do some chatting around and admiring some of the fossils that were on display. I also picked up a few fossils of course. Unfortunately, I was dumb enough to forget to take pictures of the fair! Sorry... About 60-70% of the stands were mineral stands, but the rest was filled with cool fossils. Dear All, I would like to visit some Fossil shows/fairs together with my son in Europe. I’m from the Netherlands so unfortunately we have to cross the border for these. Through these shows I would like to get more knowledge on fossils and eventually buy some nice items. Any recommendations on which one(s) to visit? For example; Kölner Edelsteintage Cologne is upcoming in September. Any experiences on this show? Thank you, Marc
