Any ideas what this is? Seemed like a tooth of some kind...

I found this while sifting material from a known fossil brook in Monmouth County, New Jersey. I though it might be a tooth, but I am not sure. It is hollow and somewhat brittle. It was found in the brook. Thanks in advance for any help/ideas of what this could be!- 2 replies

The smoth rounded side was sticking out, but when I hit it with a hammer the Clow/Tooth shaped fossils was revealed. Let me know what you think Thanks

So this one has me stumped. This was found on a southern California beach last week while walking with my family. Now I normally would have passed this one up however there were just too many factors telling me it's something more than just a rock. First and foremost (which has proven hard to show in a photo) the top, root area is very fibrous looking. I've put it side by side with a megalodon tooth just to show what eye is comparing it to. I know there aren't typically dino fossils found in this area however I did also find a 3.5" fossil shark tooth on the Sacramento river soooooo I'm not ruling anything out. Any thoughts or opinions would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks all

Hi awesome folks! Me again:) We are on vacation in Nokomis, FL, and after yesterday's ID of bone fragments I think I see fossils everywhere! This looked like some kind of molar to me? Found on Nokomis Beach. What say you, experts?

Hey guys, I found this in a creek close to me in south Florida, and while I originally presumed it to be a small, worn down bone upon first glance, further inspection made me suspect it might be something else. It has a unique enamel-like texture and there are rings visible on top. Yet it’s quite dull and tiny, it wouldn’t be a very effective incisor. I’m stumped! I’m hoping someone might have some ideas?
