These were found in a beach in Sweden. I have found sea urchins at that location before. I'm pretty sure one of them is a sea urchin, but the other one is crushed at the top. They probably came from Denmark as the only fossils in that area are from Denmark.

Hello Everyone! This rock was located in Northern Colorado in Routt County. It was found at the base of a large hill while excavating the area for a new drive. The rock is almost 2' in width and is massive. While excavating there were several areas of dirt and then veins of this white rock running through it. We are not sure if this is just a unique type of rock or if it is a fossil. There are some areas that sustained some scratches from the excavator. At the base of the hill where it was found, a creek runs along the hill. It looks like the area was carved by a much larger body of water in the past. Let me know what you think! Thank you!

Hello, I recently found this small tooth (just under 1cm long). At first, I thought it might just be a weird crocodile tooth, since those are common here in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, but upon further inspection, I saw that the tooth was hollow, unlike crocodile's teeth. Also, it lacked the vertical stripes. I am not sure what this could be, it has a small hooked section at the very tip, and inside of the curve there seems to be signs of wear. I hope it could be a monkey tooth, as they are exceptionally rare (only 2 monkey teeth have been found in all of Arabia), but it could well be some other animal.

Is this a bone, and if so what kind of bone is it and maybe what kind if animal could it have came from? For context it was given to my grandfather by his brother in Arkansas a long time ago. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi folks, This is my first attempt at id'ing small braciopods and coral. Could you please give some input on if I am wrong or right. They are all from the Devonian period from the Schoharie NY roadcut. The last corals are from the uppermost section of the Becraft limestone.

Location: Missouri Local geological map dictates that the area is Pennsylvanian Found in a rock pile left by construction workers that blasted out the rock. I posted a few of these teeth onto r/FossilID but I have not gotten any good responses to the ones below! So I made an account to show my as of right now unidentified specimen! I have found a few shark teeth in the area, such as Petalodus , and a few teeth that look to be from Eugeneodontida. These are by far my smallest shark teeth, and I was very fortunate to find any!

I might be wrong, but I believe that this rock is sandstone (if it isn’t please correct me) and that the spots in it are feldspar. I was wondering why there is such an odd placement of the feldspar(if it is feldspar) and it made me wonder if there could be fossils in it. I was planning on putting it in a rock tumbler to see if it would turn out good, but if there are fossils in it, wouldn’t it be better to work on the rock and uncover them instead of just polishing the whole rock. If you think that there could be fossils contained in it, what could it possibly be? If not, no worries I’ll probably just toss it in my rock tumbler and see what happens to it lol. (Btw it was found on cannon beach in Oregon about a year ago for context)

I was wondering what tree this piece of petrified wood could have possibly come from and maybe a rough estimation of it’s age? It was found in Stockton, California by my grandfather. According to him, it was found in his backyard when they were first building the house and tearing up the ground in the backyard? He’s had it for a long time and recently gave it to me, since I really love fossils and Paleontology. I included some pictures with and without flash and the top and bottom of it. It’s 7 inches long. I also recently cleaned it, so it would be easier to identify it and see all of the details of it.

I found this rock at my lake house in Chesterfield, MA. Not sure exactly what it is, but it definitely does not look like just a rock to me. Any help identifying it would be much appreciated! Thanks

I live just outside of Pittsburgh PA in Coraopolis and I found a strange fossil while digging the other day. I think it could be some kind of fossilized wood, but to me it looks like a large nut, like an almond almost. I'm not sure the age of it, but was wondering if anyone has seen anything similar.

Hi everyone! I recently went to the Matoaka Cottages in southern MD where I found a mysterious looking object, the Choptank formation is exposed here and from what I can tell it is bone of some sort, as it still seems to have bone marrow inside of it. My second guess of the object was some sort of tooth, I had my bets on a peccary canine but my main guess is still bone. If someone could help me identify this it would be a huge help!

Me and my dad were fossil hunting in the Calvert Cliffs Formation in Maryland, at brownies beach when my dad found this beauty. I thought it was a bull shark at first but upon closer inspection I am unsure as it hooks off at the end to the left. If anyone can identify this it would be much appreciated!

I was looking through some old family videos and I stumbled across this one with a pretty cool fossil— my family and I were never able to figure out what it was. It was about a foot long (that was my small hand in the first photo— for scale.) Any insights are greatly appreciated!!

a friend of mine found this fossil in upstate ny. my best guess is that it’s some sort of coral, but i’d love to hear other opinions! it’s about 10 inches by 7 inches by 6 inches. thanks in advance!!
