Hi the debate about Nanotyrannus got me thinking is Nanotyrannus found in Alberta Canada in the Scollard or Frenchmen Formations. If not then it could be valid since T-Rex is found there and if it’s a juvenile Rex then there should be a least some evidence for It there, since T-rex’s are found there. And if so this could provide Nanotyrannus’s range.
Short visit (1-2 hours) to famous locality near Las Vegas. I wish we would do better home work because some interesting trace fossils were identified only after we watched the video recordings. Perhaps, our "movie" will help you not to miss them when you will visit this unique place. It was a family Christmas trip, by the way. Also, if you know the species, please help with ID.
Hello! I live in Las Vegas and I love fossil hunting in Frenchman Mountain, the there are trilobites everywhere, I finaly found a full body trilobite there, can you guys I.D this one for me? I am pretty sure they are Olenellus nevadensis, because they are common in Nevada (who would have guessed that?) but I am far from an expert.
