Hello! We found both of these teeth in the same spot 6 months apart in Duval County, Florida. We are having trouble identifying whether these teeth are Great Whites or Megalodon. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any input!

Made my first fossil hunting trip to South Carolina, went to some areas around Summerville, thought I’d share pics of some of the fossils I collected! The best finds were some echovenator-like teeth, Angies, great whites, some intact sections of dugong ribs, and several associated pieces of a sea turtle shell. Felt like Indiana Jones exploring all the creeks trying to find productive spots haha. Fun trip, hope to return in the future!

Great White teeth from the Atacama Desert, caldera near Copiapo in Chile. They date from lower Pliocene Huarra Formation to the upper Miocene 4-6 million years ago.These teeth aren’t coming out any more due to export restrictions, so its difficult to get these quality Chilean specimens any more -

Hey everyone, I'm looking to obtain a great white shark (Carcharodon carcharias) tooth by trade. These are the requirements I have: complete decent preservation (so not very badly worn) accurate location info accurate formation + age info size, position or color don't really matter to me. I'm not looking for an impressive display piece! It doesn't have to be big or very colorful or whatsoever, just a decent complete tooth. One tooth will do, so I probably won't entertain many offers after the first one, but if I haven't announced (on this thread) that a deal is made I am probably still looking. If you also have any fossil shells you want to get rid of, we can definitely include those in the deal! In exchange I have a wide array of different stuff to offer, especially in the inverts, so just tell me what interests you and I'll see what I can offer via PM if I'm interested in your tooth. Don't expect a meg or dinosaur tooth in exchange though, as I'm not looking for a super valuable gw tooth either. I think they’re great white teeth but it’s hard to tell because they’re half’s, and I’m not much of an expert on identification

Hello everyone, I’m writing a paper on the great white shark. Can anyone recommend good reliable sources that touch on the topics of its evolution, diet/prey, reproduction, habitat range, lifespan, etc.? Thanks a lot!

FYI @eannis6 @paxhunter @WhodamanHD I have a coworker who is good with woodworking. Here's his youtube channel with some of his work: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjVTgldNSjHdKZj3i24QA-A He used a laser wood etcher to create these plaques for me. Phase two is I'll glue some masonite onto the back and then apply E6000 clear epoxy to contain the tooth.
