Good afternoon everyone! This is a tooth that my girlfriend found while sifting in the river and we aren't quite sure what type of tooth it is so any help would be greatly appreciated. I am pretty sure that is it mammal and I want to assume that it is carnivore since it doesn't seem like a grinding surface.

Found this at friends giant 60 section ranch outside monahans Texas in bottom of sand hills in harder sand layer where I find artifacts etc. his land is directly across from sand hills state park monahans tx. any idea on animal. deer looking to me ? It could be highly mineralized but seems to be fossilized and hard as rock.

Can anyone help me identify whether the teeth from photos 1&2 belong to Liopleurodon forax and the tooth from photo 3 is Pliosaurus Kevani? These teeth were found on Swindon, UK

Hi everybody, I'm hoping you can provide help in identifying the following object. I am a complete amateur, but have been wondering about this specific rock for a long time. I tried to make clear pictures, some on centimeter paper. Short story about the object: my mother has lived in South Portugal for a long time, near a river that usually runs dry in the summer. Over the years she and I collected numerous beautifull stones there, usually no fossils. I know there isn't obvious visual on the specimen but due to the host material being one typical fossils are found in and because of the heavy weight of it and a specific shape, I was hoping I may possibly have a fossil that can still be identified or a place to start as to what is in this rock. Thanks Also the Photos 2,3,4 & 5 are what I consider the top half of the rock and you can clearly see a pointed ridge in the middle indicating that it's possibly a fossil. First off, I'm a complete novice when it comes to fossils so please ignore my ignorance! I recently found my first fossil and I'm still waiting for the bits to arrive so I can have a go at prepping it. On hearing this and my excitement about it my Mother In Law handed me a rock and said I found this about 30 years ago on a trip to Brighton in England I want you to have it. New to this group so I hope I'm posting within guidelines. Apologies if not. My son found this at Charmouth last winter and it's been stashed in his jar of belemnites. But last night he noticed this one is different, it has ridges on both sides and isn't cone shaped like the others. He's hoping its pterosaur! Can anyone help with ID? Thanks.

I got a view year ago some teeth with the ID Rysosteus oweni. Now I have time to ID the tooth I was looking very carefull to the details. But have a problem to ID the. Tooth 1 is 0.9 cm ans Tooth 2 is 0.6 cm. To compare them with Pachystropheus rhaeticus I need to know how a Pachystropheus rhaeticus tooth look like. I read many Aust papers but no pachystropheus rhaeticus tooth. Who can help me with the correct ID? Is it Pachystropheus as sold, or Birgeria? It looks like Birgeria, but I like to compare them with some Pachystropheus fossils, as I dont know how they exaclt

I had a friend ask me what this fossil that she found in the Montour Fossil Pit yesterday was and I am unsure. It looks to me like a Bactrite or other strait-shelled cephalopod but I am not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

Here are some fossils from Lost River, WV. They were found near the Needmore formation roadside quarry. These fossils are not from the Needmore formation, instead they are from the Clinton Group. The Clinton Group, from what I found during my research, is composed of the Keefer and Rose Hill formations.
