I just came across these in my storeroom and have no idea what they are, well apart from an urchin of some kind! Any help is appreciated!

Hello! A fossil of what I believe to be Platysomus has come into my possession and I was wondering if any others here have the necessary knowledge to identify the exact species (or if it's even identifiable at all)! If my photos aren't sharp enough, I can take more and hopefully I'll be allowed to edit my post.... post-posting! I've attached images of both halves and shots of the head- If I remember correctly, those are important for ID! ...Unfortunately, location and age are unknown. If I find out where this one's from I'll leave a comment or update my post- whichever one's more possible

Hello, Does anyone have an idea as to what kind of shark tooth this is? I found it in my late father's home and don't remember how or where he came about the tooth, although most certainly somewhere in the southeast USA. Thanks in advance for any help!

Any idea what this might be? Will attach better pics to this thread when the sun is up and I have some good lighting. Also will look for more background information on where it was found, if necessary! Have put down many miles across many miles and found some pretty cool stuff here and there...- 2 replies

I saw these two fish swimming around in the sea of products of our favorite auction site, and they were so low priced I had to get them. The problem is the seller only said "found in country side", so I'm hoping with a little bit (or a lot) of help from you guys we can figure it out. They are not in my hands yet, so I can't get more/better pics. Thanks 1. 2.

This is an odd fossil that was given to me by a friend who has been a fossil and rock collector and seller for years. It was in a misc. box of fossils. He said it was baculite, but he didn't have his glasses on, so I'm not sure if he could clearly see it. The overall shape is right, but I question if it is actually baculite because it doesn't have any of the tell-tale signs on the outside like baculites many times do - shiny surfaces, puzzle-piece looking sections, etc. I can't really see much of any identifying marks on it at all. It has a few marks on the outside (and a few in the i
