I learn something new every day .... Fordite is a 'mineral'

Hunh. Detroit Agate or Fordite .... is a super sweet man-made raw material. Once created by overspray on car bodies being painted. It is baked over time in the car ovens and creates this really trippy and highly sought after material. For making jewelry etc ... I guess with automation of some of these tasks the creation of this rare material has ceased ? Cheers, Brett -
Hello, I was hoping someone more experienced could shed some light on whether this object is anything of interest or if it's something man-made like a bead that happens to look like a natural formation. It was found in Rockford, IA at the fossil quarry, so Devonian if it's actually something fossilized. Is it possible it's a mineral formation of some kind? It's roughly 4mm x 4mm and non-magnetic. It seems to be well embedded in the rock. Thanks for your time!

Found this on the Peace River this week. The hole was completely filled with sand. Who made this?? It was about 3 feet down in the river bed. About 2.5 in long. Let me know what you guys think??
